FREE Courses for Adults at Easter
CWA is running a series of FREE sessions, for anyone aged 19 or over, during the week after Easter. Why not come along, when the campus is quieter, to see how we can improve your skills and understanding?
Register here to find out more and check the DATEs/times for each topic.
You can choose from the following topics:
- An introduction to Multiply at CWA
The College offers a wide range of courses and activities via the National Multiply Programme. This session enables you to understand more about the current options and us to learn what else you might be interested in. - Bingo
The classic game - with a twist. Get your favourite dabber ready and come along to see which prizes you could win. (Dabbers will be available on the day!) - Countdown
Seconds out for the numbers round. Get your creative maths brain working and calculate a way to the random total. Are you up to the challenge? Take the time to find out and win a variety of prizes. Hurry though, the clock is ticking... - Quick/draw
Quick-fire mental maths. Illustrate your answers within the time limit to move to the next round. The more correct answers, the higher the chance of winning, with lots of prizes to get your hands on. - Know Your Money
A short course that will help you understanding and maximise your income. You'll learn a range of money saving tips, assess your personal finances and create a personalised budget plan. And, on completion of the course, you'll also get a £25 voucher! - Quiz
Test your general knowledge - individually or as a team of up to four people. A range of great prizes are up for grabs, including for the best team name. - Staying Safe Online
Understanding online safety can be tricky but, increasingly, it's an essential part of life. Come along and learn some of the methods we use to spot the scams and stay as safe as we can online. - ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
We’re also running drop-in sessions, to assess your current levels and understanding, to gauge what support we can provide you during Easter or as part of our regular scheduled activity. Pop along for a relaxed and informal chat with the team. Find out what we are doing at the College of West Anglia and how we can develop your work prospects and your social skills or help you support your child at school.
Spaces are limited, so book your place now!
We look forward to seeing you!
