Welcome from UcWA
The compact nature of the University Centre ensures that our students receive unprecedented support from tutors and have the opportunity to form firm friendships with other learners, something that is not always easy in a larger institution. At UcWA, everybody counts and success is attainable.
As well as the high levels of personal support, flexible study is a key feature of what we offer. If you do not feel ready to launch straight in to higher level study, then we offer a range of one-year Access to Higher Education courses designed to prepare you for the challenge ahead.
It is never too late to change career, gain additional qualifications or simply study a subject that you have always wanted to, but never had the chance. We look forward to helping you achieve your educational and career goals and are sure you will enjoy your time with us.

Welcome from ARU
At Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) we are committed to delivering an outstanding educational experience for our students. Our research and innovation transform lives and we work to support the economic, social and cultural wellbeing of the communities we serve. As part of this mission ARU works in partnership with University Centre West Anglia to provide you with a choice of locally delivered higher education programmes.
As a university we strive to improve performance and this year was no exception. We are delighted to have maintained our position in the top 350 world universities in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings. We are the highest ranked of all the post-1992 UK universities.
Whilst there is much more to a university education than simply securing a well paid job we were pleased to see that the Economist ranked ARU one of the top 50 universities in the UK for delivering a positive financial return for their students. By studying with us at University Centre West Anglia you are joining a success story. We are working very closely with local, national and international businesses, resulting in, at the time of writing, about 90% of our students being in work or further study six months after graduating and four out of five of them in jobs classified as managerial or professional.
